The Institute

Looming all but unnoticed in the greater glory of the Chicago skyline, the Institute passes beneath the notice of most humans as simply the hollowed-out hull of an old church, condemned by the city and unsafe for human occupation. However, inside the walls is an entirely different place, a shining fortress of paranormal Law enforcement inhabited and maintained by Shadowhunters.
