In the photograph she is with Pilar Orenes, director of Educo (center), and Arantxa Bustinduy, specialist in Corporate Relations at Educo (left), who were able to talk with her and learn about her motivations for becoming an ambassador for our NGO.
What motivated you about the project Improving the quality of life and future expectations of women victims of violence and abuse in El Salvador to present it to the call? I am a woman, I have a daughter and I feel lucky to live in the environ Chinese Overseas Asia Number Data ment in which we live, but not all women and girls in the world are as lucky as us and, often, many of them find themselves in vulnerable situations. that should not occur. This project motivated me because since we cannot always prevent them from happening, we can at least help provide them with tools to overcome the situations they have had to experience, both from a health and psychological and social point of view and not necessarily by giving financially, but with empowerment and providing resources that allow them to move forward and be self-sufficient. What do you value most about Educo to have accompanied us as godmother and to have repeated another year? I have been collaborating with Educo for more than years and I have to confess that for a time I had my crises of faith regarding NGOs.
Doubts like, does that child in the photo exist? Is it the same photo for everyone? However, a while ago something happened that made me reaffirm my relationship with Educo: in they asked me if I wanted to communicate with our sponsored child and we decided to send a letter along with a drawing of our family to that big-eyed child who had been looking at us and growing on the door of our refrigerator. It was some time before we received a letter from Jonathan thanking us for our help and a photo of him smiling while holding our drawing in his hand. From then on, that child went from being a photo on the refrigerator to coming to life and becoming a reality for us. Why do you think it is important for Banco Santander to raise a call like Euros on your payroll , which is based on employee commitment? It is a win-win game for all parties: as an employee your commitment to the company increases because you feel that it shares your values, the NGOs receive funds that improve the lives of the beneficiaries and Banco Santander benefits from having a more committed employee. and achieves its purpose of helping society by forming a great team between NGOs and employees.
