This impressive mansion made of shipping containers consists of three floors and m of living space, with spectacular views of the Gateway Arch from the upper floors.
The containers are arranged in Phone Number List three rows of three, stacked three stories high. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms in the house.
The three containers on the ground floor stand on a concrete base. The containers on the upper floor are arranged horizontally to create an overhang at the rear of the building and a covered terrace on the first floor facing the street.
The entrance to the house is designed within the width of a shipping container, where one of the container's loading doors is welded in an open position with a small roof offering a protected entrance to the house.
A vibrant bright yellow front door opens to a seating area displaying various works of art. The side walls of the container were cut away to create a large open plan living area, eliminating any notion of interior space within the shipping boxes.
Most of the interior walls are treated and almost none of the corrugated metal walls that dominate the exterior are evident inside. One of the walls of the container is left intact and painted gray. High ceilings create a feeling of openness and space. A comfortable seating area in the living room has colorful furniture, including a cozy sofa for relaxing, bright yellow chairs, and a handmade distressed wood coffee table.
Passing through the living room, there is a cozy dining room that opens to a spacious and elegant kitchen, completely open to the dining room over a long kitchen island. The kitchen features modern lower flat front cabinets, matte quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances. A whimsical wallpaper is used on the back wall of the kitchen that adds lots of color to contrast the flat painted white walls. A vintage cube sits against an exposed metal wall that has an elegant feel to the space.
The home features exposed air conditioning ducts, exposed corrugated container roofs, and the original plywood floors. On the second floor is the spacious master suite with a wall-mounted floating bed adorned with cushions and placed in the center of the room.
